When to Service Your Chevrolet

15,000 Miles

At 15,000 miles, it’s time for another oil change and tire rotation. Now is also a good time to replace your wiper blades, check all fluid levels, and inspect your brakes and tires. You should also visually inspect your engine air filter, exhaust system, and steering and suspension system for signs of wear.

30,000 Miles 

At the 30,000-mile mark, you may have a few extra maintenance needs. New air filters and spark plugs are typically needed at this point. Your mechanic will also inspect your brake pads, lining, and lines and drive shaft boots for signs of wear and tear.

45,0000 Miles 

At this service visit, don’t be surprised if your mechanic recommends some replacement parts, especially if wear was showing at the 30,000-mile visit. Typically, spark plugs, air filters, and fuel filters need to be replaced at this mileage point. Our Chevy service center technicians will also take a look at other components that might need to be replaced, such as:

• Transmission fluid

60,000 Miles 

If you haven’t already replaced parts like spark plugs, air filters, oil filters, fuel filters, tires, and brake pads, now is the time. If you postpone any maintenance at 45,000 miles, you’ll need to have it performed now to keep your vehicle in pristine working order. Our technicians may also inspect parts, including: 

• Starter motor
• Cylinder heads
• Fuels injectors
• Steering components
• Drivetrain

90,000 Miles 

When you hit 90,000 miles, spark plugs, brake pads, fuel filters, and air filters will likely need to be replaced again. Overall, your vehicle will need to be checked from top to bottom as you approach the 100,000-mile milestone.
