McClinton offers access to several optional pre-tax programs, including flexible spending accounts (FSA), retirement 401(k) accounts with 2% company match. It is important for us to help our employees take control of their finances so you can avoid the distractions and stress that comes with financial problems.
McClinton provides short-term disability insurance available to all full-time employees (without needing to participate in our health benefits). This is provided through payroll deduction with American Fidelity.
McClinton recognizes employees who are dedicated to the company and shows appreciation for team members with McClinton Bucks. Employees who make it to landmark anniversaries like 10, 15, 20, 25 years will receive additional recognition.
“KUDOS” is a recognition program that each quarter, the employees nominate their coworkers for doing whatever it takes for each other, clients, and the company. Winners receive a cash bonus.

Employees can receive a bonus just for referring someone they feel would be a good fit to join McClinton! Payment to the referring employee is made based on the time of employment of their referral.
Employees receive a car show t-shirt and are encouraged to bring their family to participate in the festivities. This is a company and community building event and is a benefit to the Children’s Home Society.
McClinton recognizes departments throughout the year and their participation in fundraisers and/or extra hard work. Cookouts or pizza lunches are provided throughout the year for the company as a whole or specific departments at specific times.
It is important to us that you continue to grow as an individual and in your career. We pay for and provide specific training for you to maximize your skills. If you grow, we grow. Non-job specific training is also offered, such as CPR/First Aid, Excel, Microsoft Office, etc.
Bonus programs are in place for service and body technicians to reward and encourage proficiency and hard work. Unit bonus programs are available for salesmen.
Most departments enjoy their regular day off in addition to a holiday. We feel that the sales team deserves to enjoy their normal day off during a holiday week, especially if the individual and the company is performing well and meeting our weekly/monthly objective. We encourage employees to use this time to catch up on personal care or spend time with family. This is subject to change based on the time of year and company needs.

Medical insurance is available for full time employees. McClinton generously pays for a portion of the coverage and there are two (2) plan options. You have choices!
McClinton provides life insurance to all full-time employees (without needing to participate in our health benefits), at no cost to employees. $10,000 Life insurance policy at no cost to the employee.
McClinton provides 6 holidays per calendar year. Our employees sometimes enjoy spending 3-day weekends and major holidays away from the company with their friends and family.
Our generous benefits package includes vacation time and sick leave. All full time employees accrue 1 week vacation per year and 5 sick days per year.
1 year employment = 1 week, 5 days sick
2 year employment = 2 weeks, 5 days sick
10 years employment = 3 weeks, 5 days sick
20 years employment = 4 weeks, 5 days sick
*Sick days do NOT roll over, but you can cash out at the end of the year (for hourly Employees ONLY)
Employees can receive a bonus just for referring someone to bring their car in to sell to us off the curb. McClinton must purchase the vehicle for the bonus to be paid. We need used cars and we need your help to acquire them!
McClinton is pleased to provide uniforms for our team members. There is a limit to the number of uniforms per employee. We also provide a cleaning service for the service and body technician uniforms. We take pride in the way you look!

The holidays are important to us and you and your family and we recognize your dedication and hard work with a delicious catered company meal.
Staffing is an issue for all businesses. In the automotive world, especially with technicians, it seems to unfortunately be a dying breed. We have a lot of employees who have been with us for decades and we need to prepare ourselves for when they retire so that we have a secure future. Roger was a staple of our dealership for over three decades. In honor of Roger, we offer the Roger Brown Scholarship to any technician who is new to the business and exemplifies teamwork and a willingness to learn more about the trade. With that program, $1,000 is lent to a new employee to set them up with the tools required to do their job. For new service or body shop technician hires, the scholarship is $4,000 given over four years as long as the recipient maintains the necessary hours for 12 consecutive months.
As long as you are an employee of McClinton, you and your immediate family will receive personal identity theft protection. This is a $30/month per person value (compared to LifeLock).
